The “Original” and located in the heart of Downtown Richmond. This 108 year old, 25 foot wide by half-a-city-block-long building has 46 taps, 2 cask conditioned ale hand pumps and a selection of over 200 bottled beers. A separate lower level gaming area with two pool tables, four dart boards and various other games is open every night and perfect for spending time after work or late night. Our Beer Garden is now open with its own kitchen, and European inspired fountain. Banquets and Gatherings of up to 60 people can be accommodated in our private dining room and up to 250 in our Music Hall.

It is conveniently located within walking distance of the events on Brown’s Island, Tredegar Iron Works, the Carpenter Center, the National, the Richmond Ballet, the Richmond Coliseum and of course, the Virginia State Capitol Building and General Assembly.

Doc Taylor's Seaside Market Lounge is an extension of Doc Taylor's breakfast joint located on the corner of 23rd St and Pacific Ave in Virginia Beach. They offer live music (mostly local or regional, sometimes national acts) on Thursday evenings only from approximately 8:30-11:30pm during the months of Jan - Nov. Past acts include The Heavy Pets, Big Organ Trio, Future, Jackass Flats, The Former Champions, Ben Phelps Project, Rylo, Family Tree, Whiskey Rebellion, The Prisoners, Thin Air Rising, Session Rockers, The Muckrakes, The Influence, Seed Is... and more! There's almost never a cover charge unless a special event is scheduled.

The Jewish Mother, recently featured on “The Food Network”, continues serving up great food and selling its retail line in the store and on her website. The Mother is also known for the famous music artists, who not only eat here, but have played here as well. Matisyahu, Dave Matthews, Bruce Hornsby, Keller Williams, Burning Spear, Ice Cube, N.E.R.D. and many, many more throughout the thirty five years if existance.
